About Delta Sands
From the founders of Performance Proppants — the first, largest, and most reliable regional sand producer in the legacy Haynesville Shale — Delta Sands is a new, purpose-built project designed to bring that same operational discipline and quality proppant to the Western Haynesville.
Our Background
The leadership team previously developed and operated the Haynesville’s largest in-basin proppant footprint, including multiple state-of-the-art facilities strategically located to serve the regions most active operators. That experience — building scale, optimizing haul miles, and delivering dependable quality — informs every aspect of Delta Sands.

Why the Western Haynesville?
The Western Haynesville, stretching across Leon, Freestone, Limestone, and Robertson Counties in Texas, represents the next phase of development within one of North America’s most prolific natural gas plays. While the core Haynesville Shale in East Texas and North Louisiana has long been recognized for its exceptional productivity and 75+ trillion cubic feet of recoverable gas, recent drilling and completion advancements have opened up significant new potential along its western flank.
The Western Haynesville is in the midst of a major growth cycle, with Comstock Resources and Aethon Energy anchoring development and driving consistent drilling activity. Recent strategic investments from Mitsui E&P USA, Expand Energy, and Hilcorp Energy underscore growing confidence in the play’s economics and long-term productivity.
This portion of the Haynesville is demonstrating exceptional well performance, with strong initial production rates and—more notably—remarkably stable decline curves that have exceeded expectations across multiple operators. Recent results from Aethon Energy and Comstock Resources highlight the Western Haynesville’s consistency and long-term productivity. The strong and consistent well results continue to draw new capital, expanding both the rig count and the infrastructure investment footprint across the play.
With natural gas demand rising sharply—driven by LNG exports, power generation (data centers), and industrial feedstock growth—the Western Haynesville is positioned as a key contributor to future supply. Its proximity to major pipelines, Gulf Coast LNG terminals, and I-45 logistics corridors makes it a uniquely strategic area for sustained development.
Delta Sands is being built to serve that momentum—providing a centrally located, high-volume, high-quality proppant supply positioned in the heart of the Western Haynesville to meet the play’s growth and reliability demands.
